Questions & Answers regarding Agriculture Benefits Per Cap Distribution Payments and Forms:
Q: Do I need to fill out the banking information form for kids as well?
A: No information is required from the minors right now. When they are close to reaching age 19, Deloitte will send them a letter to confirm their membership and options for payment.
Q: Do they require a hard copy or can we just scan and email in?
A: Deloitte said members can scan and email or fax in is fine.
Q: Can I fax or hand in my payment option forms to FNFN?
A: Yes (according to FNFN's EDA and Deloitte), whichever is easiest for you. FNFN will forward completed forms to Deloitte. "They can hand in their direct deposit forms to either, whichever they find most convenient. Elders, however, should hand their forms in to the FNFN band office just to make sure we can transfer the $10,500.00 additional payment to them. They can drop off the forms with Reception at the Band Office." (FNFN EDA Glenn Saganace)
FNFN's fax number is 250.774.7260
Deloitte's fax number is 604.899.8251
Q: Can I pick up my cheque at the Band Office when they're distributed?
A: Yes, on the form check the 3rd option and write down Band Office there and they will send your cheque to the Band Office.
Q: Will this money affect low income housing residents?
A: The payment is not considered income provincially or federally, and should not have an impact on the low income housing. This is similar to the Indian Residential School payment. (Deloitte)
