Among several minimum criteria is the requirement to be in compliance with British Columbia’s Immunization program, TB screening, and COVID-19 vaccinations. Depending on the opportunity, additional qualifications often include the requirement for a Police Records Check (PRC), and/or a valid British Columbia driver’s license.
Unless a job posting is identified as open until filled, postings close at 4:30 p.m. on the day of closing. It may take up to two weeks for a shortlisted candidate to be contacted for further screening, or for us to schedule an interview. While we appreciate all applicants, we will only contact those who have been selected for further consideration. The following is the basics of our recruitment and selection process:
- Applications are collected until the date and time of cut off (or until position is filled for open postings).
- Humans Resources reviews applications collected by fax 250-774-7260 and email recruitment@fnnation.ca
- Applications that demonstrate (in the resume and cover letter) meeting the minimum requirements are considered against all other applications for shortlisting.
- Shortlisted applicants may be required to submit additional information in a screening process, so that the employer can further consider and assess qualifications.
- When there is an overwhelming number of applications the employer reserves to right to screen and interview the top three applicants.
- Prior to an offer being made, verification of eligibility criteria will be requested, and references will be contacted.
General applications that do not identify a specific job posting may be held on file and considered for up to 6 months following submission.
